In partnership with my wife, Verena, who is an architect, I supervise and consult on high-quality interior design and renovation projects. We work with a small team of skilled restorers craftsmen and experts. In the last few years we have successfully completed a number of high-calibre restoration projects.

All the projects involved historical buildings which over the years and as a result of unprofessional repair work and renovation had become divorced from their original appearance and their original function.

We set out to restore the buildings as sensitively as possible to their original condition and character without interfering with the integrity of the existing structure.
With our team's specialist knowledge, our extensive experience of working on historical buildings and our expertise in the vocabulary of seventeenth, eighteenth and nineteenth-century decoration we have been able to restore the buildings to their original charm. Constant consultation with the owners right down to the furnishings and fixtures stage was of course a vital precondition.
